WEDNESDAY MATINEE: Heart Attack Man, Relient K, Signals Midwest

Heart Attack Man – “Taking Sides”

Cleveland’s Heart Attack Man has a new album out in March through new Triple Crown Records imprint called You Did This. The album was recorded with Ian Farmer from Modern Baseball and is already getting recognition outside of the Cleveland bubble. In fact, this video premiered on Brooklyn Vegan earlier this month! The band hits the road at the end of this month on a 15 date tour with Head North. They’ll be at Mahall’s on March 11.

Relient K – “Candy Hearts”

One of Cleveland’s most popular pop-punk exports has been touring a lot in the past few years. The band (reunited with drummer Dave Douglas who also just so happens to be one of the best producers in town IMHO) has been packing out concert halls all over the country.  With new music on the horizon (this video came out two days ago) they probably won’t be stopping anytime soon!  Tomorrow they’ll be at the House of Blues in Cleveland with Switchfoot.

Signals Midwest – “Alchemy Hour”

Speaking of bands that tour alot- Signals Midwest, the Cleveland band that puts all other “working bands” to shame with their tour schedule is hitting the road AGAIN in March. But not before their long awaited return to Brite Winter on February 18. This song is from the band’s latest album “At This Age” which you can purchase here.
